Getting Started
01.
INQUIRY & VETTING
Tell us you’re interested in joining the Founding Class by submitting your business info below. We’ll meet virtually for a Vetting Consultation to confirm eligibility & ensure you align with La Critique’s Standards.
APPLICATION & ONBOARDING
Approved businesses submit a $250 application fee and receive in-person onboarding. We’ll set category goals, review your guest experience, and identify training opportunities before Critiques commence.
NO STRINGS ATTACHED
Submitting an inquiry doesn't obligate you. It's simply the first step toward seeing if your business is ready for a CX Rating.

Evaluation
YOUR CRITIQUE SCHEDULE
To earn a Rating for the first time, each business undergoes eight (8) unannounced, in-person Critiques over 12 weeks (unless an expedited schedule is pre-arranged).
To ensure a trust guest's-eye experience, staff must never know who the auditors are, only that they are being audited by a third-party.
CRITIQUE COSTS
Businesses are responsible for Variable & Fixed costs associated with each Critique. Auditor labor starts at $75 per hour for on-site time and up to 5 hours for reporting. Variable costs include auditor purchases on-site, and a capped 20% gratuity, if applicable.

Scoring & Maintenance

RATING SCORE & RECOGNITION
After eight (8) Critiques, your Rating is determined by the final average.
La Critique then formally presents your Prestigious Rating Plaque in a recognition ceremony, celebrating your achievement with your team and community!
MAINTAINING EXCELLENCE
Consistency is key to claiming excellence! Therefore, in order to keep your rating active, Ratings must be renewed through quarterly or semi-annual Maintenance Critiques, determined on business type.
Failed Maintenance Critiques trigger a structured improvement process so your business stays accountable.
